Systems thinker. Quiet researcher. Decisive designer.
I've spent the last decade designing for the kind of problems where the brief is unclear, the stakes are real and the wrong answer is expensive — AI workflows in regulated pharma, decision tools for bankers, mobility for security teams, and no-code surfaces for non-technical operators.
My practice combines deep qualitative research, service-design mapping and interaction craft — held together by a systems lens that anticipates downstream risk before it ships.
I trained at the National Institute of Design (NID)and have partnered with IBM, American Express, Cognizant, Compliance Group and Agiledge.
Approach
A four-move method for high-stakes product problems.
01
Frame the ambiguity
Stakeholder interviews, ecosystem mapping and a written problem brief everyone signs off on.
02
Research with intent
Mixed-method research designed around the highest-risk unknowns, not vanity metrics.
03
Design the smallest credible thing
Service blueprints, flows and interactive prototypes that make trade-offs visible early.
04
Ship, measure, harden
Usability testing, design-system contributions and a hand-off engineers actually enjoy.
FAQ
Questions clients ask first.
- What kind of work do you take on?
- Senior UX strategy, research, end-to-end product design and design-system work — usually for AI-enabled, regulated, or genuinely complex enterprise products.
- Do you work solo or with a team?
- Both. I embed with product/engineering teams as a fractional senior designer, or run discovery and design sprints solo with a clear hand-off.
- Are you available for full-time roles?
- Selectively, for senior individual-contributor or lead roles where the problem space is meaningful.
- How do we start?
- Email anjani.vc@gmail.com with a paragraph about the problem. I reply within two working days.
